WF70: License Deactivation

Pre-Requisites

• A. MADE is activated with a valid license.

Detailed Steps

1. Launch MADE.
2. Decision — FlexNet Offline License? If yes, proceed to Step 5 (Delete License File). If no, proceed to Step 3.
3. Select 'Help' > 'License Management' in the menu bar to open the wizard.
4. Decision — FlexNet Local Server License? If yes, proceed to Step 7 (Remove FlexNet Server). If no, proceed to Step 6 (Select Return License) — i.e. Cloud licensing.
5. Delete License File: Ensure MADE is closed. Delete the file from the Environment library in the following directory: %USERPROFILE%\MADE\environment\license\.
6. Select Return License. MADE will shut down upon selecting 'Finish'.
7. Remove FlexNet Server: Under 'Change license details', select 'Change'. Select the server to remove, followed by the delete button. Select 'Next'. If there are no more local servers, MADE will close after selecting 'Finish'.
8. MADE is successfully deactivated. If reactivating under a different method/license type, refer to WF57 (Cloud), WF59 (FlexNet Local), or WF60 (FlexNet Server).

• Step 5: Delete FlexNet .lic File — Windows Explorer navigated to C:\Users\Sam\MADE\environment\license\, showing the license file (e.g. "MADE Example.lic", Type "LIC File", Size 3 KB). Select the file and click the Delete (trash) icon in the toolbar.
• Step 6: Return MADE Cloud License — "MADE License Finder" dialog shows current "Cloud license activated successfully" details (Lease details: License code, License type "Floating (network)", Active seat "MADE Modeling", Expiration date "December 31 2026", Entitled seats "MADE Modeling, MADE PHM, MADE RAM, MADE SRA", Capabilities "MADE Japanese, MADE TC", Machine identity "TPM", Issuer "PHM Technology Pty. Ltd."). Under "Change license details": "Return the MADE license so that it can be used by another installation." Click "Return license ->" button. Confirmation screen: "License Returned" — "Your license xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxICNS has been returned successfully. MADE will shut down when you click Finish." Click Finish.
• Step 7: Remove FlexNet Server — "MADE License Finder" shows current FlexNet "License validated successfully" details (Holder "PHMT Testing License", Organization "PHM Technology Pty. Ltd.", Country "AU", Issuer "PHM Technology Pty. Ltd.", Expiration date "March 31 2028"). Under "Change license details": "Return to the FlexNet license configuration page to change the license details you entered." Click "Change ->". "Configure your FlexNet license" page: select the saved server row (e.g. "Flex Server", Address "172.16.2.10", Port "27000 (Default)") in the "Network Server License" > "Saved License Servers" table and click the red 'x' delete icon, then Next. Final page: "License server details removed" — "No network license servers or local license file are configured. Click Finish to apply this change and restart MADE."
