Generating Analysis & Statistic Charts

The statistics and analysis charts allows users to generate charts representing

system data and information in a graphical or table format.

To generate charts, follow the steps listed below:

  1. Open the Chart Analysis window from the main menu or the Chart Analysis Icon in the icon menu [Image: accesscharting.png]

  1. In the Charting editor select a chart category [Image: chartCategories.png]

  2. Select a chart provided by each chart category (see Statistics & Analysis Chart Types for more information) [Image: chartWindow.png]

  3. Fill in the fields of the Options Section to assign the chart type to be created [Image: optionsGroup.png]

  4. Fill in the Origin of Failure section by selecting 'Edit' to open a dialog then select the model items to be included in the chart [Image: editoriginoffailure.png]

  1. Fill in the Component End Effect Responses section by selecting 'Edit' to open a dialog then select end effect responses to be included in the chart [Image: editendeffectresponse.png]

  1. Select 'Generate Chart' to start creating a new chart [Image: generateButton.png]

Additional Charting Options:

  • Maximise Chart maximises the chart section inside the charting editor [Image: maxchartview.png]
  • Open chart in new window opens the chart in a separate editor for comparison [Image: chartnewwindow.png]
  • Export to Image exports the chart as a PNG file [Image: chartexport.png]
