Modules and Viewers

MADE uses modules to group specific types of analyses or focus on model construction.

Currently, there are 4 MADE modules:

  • MADE - Maintenance Aware Design Ecosystem. Used for construction of a system and model simulations.
  • SRA - Safety & Risk Assessment. Used for criticality analyses (e.g. FMECA) of the model.
  • RAM - Reliability, Availability & Maintainability. Contains analyses relating to reliability, availiability & maintenance methodologies (e.g. RCM).
  • PHM - Prognostics & Health Management. Used for diagnostic (sensor) analysis of the system model.

To switch modules:

  1. Select icons from the toolbar menu

    Toolbar modules

  2. Select a module from the main menu

    Window modules

MADE Viewers

Viewers are used to display specific aspects of a model or specific tools to aid with modelling or model analyses.

To access viewers:

  1. Select an icon from the toolbar menu (only when viewers are minimised)

  2. Select a module from the main menu

    Views

Specific viewers open when an analysis action is triggered. For example, when a failure response is injected in the system model, the Propagation Table will automatically appear as a viewer.

Note: To alter the layout of each viewer or editor, click and drag their main tabs then move them to a different area of the screen.

For more information, see Viewers (09-ViewsEditors/03Viewers/00Viewers.html).
