| Criticality | CA | MIL-STD-1629A | Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) reports are focussed on the failure modes of the model and potential effects and criticality of each failure mode. FMECA reports may use either a qualitative or quantitative analysis, and require the use of the criticality editor. |
| Criticality | FMECA | MIL-STD-1629A / Custom | This FMECA report is a composite report based upon the MIL-STD-1629A standard with additional fields capturing qualitative failure information. The report lists Failure Modes for each item in the system model that leads to the selected End Effect with additional fields capturing failure predictability and compensating provisions. |
| Criticality | FMECA (Fuzzy) | PHMT | The FMECA (Fuzzy, PHMT) report is a FMECA method that is tailored from the RPN method to better suit the MADE software. The FMECA (Fuzzy, PHMT) report lists the Failure Mode for each item in the system model that leads to the selected End Effect. This report depends on functions, flows, failure diagrams (if provided) and criticality data. The criticality method uses the typical RPN parameters (occurrence, severity, difficulty of detection) and additional model parameters (causal strength and probability of failure). The results are then converted into fuzzy linguistic terms according to fuzzy rule memberships stored in MADE preferences. |
| Criticality | FMECA (HRI) | Custom | The Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (Hazard Risk Index, Custom) report or FMECA (HRI, Custom) report is based on the HRI criticality method defined in ABR-6303, tailored by a customer for a MER process. This report is a variation on the standard HRI report that uses a unique Item ID and Failure Mode ID system, adds a mission effects column and identifies whether items should be carried forwards in the analysis process based on a criticality threshold. |
| Criticality | FMECA (HRI) | PHMT | The Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (Hazard Risk Index, PHMT) or FMECA (HRI, PHMT) report is based on the HRI criticality method defined in ABR-6303, tailored by PHMT for the MADE application.
