WF31: Create MADE Library

Pre-requisites

  • Storage Location: available storage location that will be accessible by the software.
  • Existing Libraries: libraries that have been previously developed and now require access to be granted.

Detailed Descriptions (numbered steps)

  1. Access through 'Library Management', under the 'Preferences' tab of the Menu bar.
  2. Create a library with the 'Create Library' button.
  3. Click 'Browse..' button to assist in setting the location or manually input the directory of the database / library (server-based libraries may experience network delays).
  4. Define the Library details. Note: Library and Database names must be unique.
  5. Add an existing library, using 'Add Library', under 'Library Controls'. Use the 'Browse..' button to define the location of the MADE library database file.
  6. Validate Library Details so there are no conflicts with existing libraries, then click 'Finish' to finalise setting up the library.
  7. Check the libraries to 'activate' them, specifying which libraries are to be connected upon start-up of MADE.
  8. Delete library if not applicable to your applications.
  9. Once all required libraries have been defined, use 'Apply and Close' to finalize the management of the MADE Library.
