MADE Workflows > Exporting Analysis Information with MADE API
WF49: MADE Analysis API Export Workflow
Pre-Requisites
- A. MADE Project: a project with an externally configured API Endpoint.
Detailed Steps
- Open the Analysis Export Wizard, via the integration toolbar.
- Create an API endpoint by inputting host information (Alias, URL), alternatively select an existing API Endpoint. Enter any required login detail and test connection to confirm that the Endpoint is available for export.
- Select the analysis resource category you wish to export. Each resource category contains a set of pre-defined MADE analyses.
- Select an analysis instance you wish to export. If performing a FMECA export, input FMECA analysis information. If performing a RBD analysis, no selection is required.
- Export your analysis to your chosen endpoint by selecting Finish.
- Analysis export complete.
Screen-by-screen detail (from embedded screenshots)
- Step 1: Open Analysis Export Wizard — Main menu: Integration > Export Analysis...
- Step 2: Create or Select API endpoint — Same "Select API Server" flow as WF47/WF48: add host (Alias, URL, Version, Authentication), Test Connection, OK, Login Credentials, Try Login, Next.
- Step 3: Select Resource to Export — "Export Analysis" dialog, "Select Data" page lists analysis Data Categories (radio-select one):
- Diagnostic Set — exports analysis info from a selected Diagnostic Analysis and chosen Sensor Set, including sensed locations, sensor parameters, diagnostic rules for each failure.
- FMECA — exports analysis info generated from the MADE model based on FMECA selections and a chosen Criticality Profile, including functions, failure modes, failure causes and criticality metrics.
- Fault Tree Analysis — exports analysis info from the selected Fault Tree Builder including event data, probability of failure, logic, etc.
- Propagation Table — exports failure path response analysis for each outflow or symptom in the selected level of indenture based on selected parameters.
- RBD Analysis — exports analysis info drawn from the MADE Reliability Block Diagram, including Failure Rates, MTTR, Grouping Types, Reliability, Availability.
- Reliability Allocation — exports analysis info from a selected Reliability Allocation analysis including Target Reliability, Minimum Allocated Reliability, Duration of Operation, and Maximum Allowable Failure Rate.
- Step 4: Filter Resource Category — "Filtered Selection" page: "Select a Sensor Set from one of the available Diagnostic Analyses to include in the Export." Tree shows systems/diagnostic analyses/sensor sets with status column (e.g. "Selected", "New"), e.g. Vehicle System > Diagnostic Analysis 1 (Type: Automated - FCM) > Analysis 1 - Set 1 (marked "Selected"), Analysis 2 - Set 1, Legacy Sensor Set; Driveline > Driveline PHM Analysis (Type: Automated - BOND) > Analysis 5 - Set 1 through Set 10; Power Generation > User Defined (Type: User-defined - FCM) > Legacy Sensor Set, Power Generation, Sensor Set.
- Step 6: Analysis Export Complete — "Results" page shows Summary: Endpoint, Request Method (e.g. "Export > Snapshot"), Selected Data (e.g. "Diagnostic Set"). Note: unsaved changes are automatically saved before the operation starts. Click Finish.
Outputs
- 1. Model Export: Exported Analysis to configured API Endpoint.
