FMECA (Fuzzy, PHMT)

The FMECA (Fuzzy, PHMT) report is a FMECA method that is tailored from the RPN method

to better suit the MADE software. The FMECA (Fuzzy, PHMT) report lists the Failure Mode

for each item in the system model that leads to the selected End Effect. This report

depends on functions, flows, failure diagrams (if provided) and criticality data. The

criticality method uses the typical RPN parameters (occurrence, severity, difficulty of

detection) and additional model parameters (causal strength and probability of failure).

The results are then converted into fuzzy linguistic terms according to fuzzy rule

memberships stored in MADE preferences.
