Creating System Elements

There are three types of base elements that can be created in a System Model:

• Parts
• Components
• Subsystems

These elements can be created from the following locations:

1. Icons in the tool-bar menu

   

2. Right-clicking an empty space in the System Model/Project Explorer

   

3. By selecting Diagram → New in the Main Menu (System Model must be open and be selected).

   

System Element Details

Elements can be moved to a new location in the system model by click and dragging the element to the desired location.

Properties of the element can be modified using:

• Properties Viewers
• Advanced Properties
