Criticality of Failures

This chart type plots the distribution of criticality values for selected Failure

Concepts.

The user can choose the propagation type (FCM or Simulation), assign the chart type

(bar or pie) and choose from the following criticality analysis methods: RPN, Fuzzy

Criticality or HRI. The chart analysis requires selecting component/s to define the

origin of a failure mode and the associated component where end-effect response occurs.

Figure 1: Criticality of Components bar graph shows the criticality analysis

values (vertical axis, left side), a cumulative criticality in percentage values

(cumulative line and vertical axis, right side) and a list of Failure Causes considered

in the chart analysis.
