Exporting a Project

MADE has the ability to export a system model into a STEP file format.

To Export a system model:

1. Open a MADE project
2. Select "File→Export" from the main menu to open the export wizard
3. Verify the export type (.STEP) then select "Next"
4. Select the STEP file name and time stamp in the "STEP file - Export" page then select "Next"
5. Select the check-boxes next to each item in the "Analysis Model Items" page then select "Next"
6. Select the criticality measures (and thresholds if applicable)
7. Set the End Effect item and Propagation Type then select "Next"
8. Review the STEP File Name and set the file location in the "Export" page
9. Select "Finish" to close the wizard and complete the export process
10. Verify that the exported STEP file is present in the specified directory
