WF57: License Activation - Cloud

Pre-Requisites

• A. A valid Cloud License Code for MADE.
• B. The MADE software has been installed on the end-user's machine.

Detailed Steps

1. Launch the MADE software on the end-user PC. If the MADE license has not been activated, the MADE License Finder dialogue will appear.
2. Enter the License Code in the 'License Code Activation' text field on the MADE License Finder dialogue.
3. Select 'Activate license'.
4. Confirm the license details:
   • License Code: The license code provided by the issuer, entered in Step 2.
   • License Type: Floating (network).
   • Expiration Date: The last valid date for the license, applicable to Subscription Licenses only.
   • Maintenance End Date: The last valid date for maintenance, applicable to Perpetual Licenses only.
   • Entitled seats & Capabilities: Check that the expected license features for your license are listed here.
   • Issuer: The organization that issued the license to you.
5. Select 'Finish' to finalize the process. The MADE License is now activated, and the MADE License Finder dialogue will close, allowing access to the MADE software.

• Step 2: Enter the License Code — "MADE License Finder" dialog: "Select an option below to activate or request a license." Options presented:
  • "Cloud Licensing" (marked RECOMMENDED) — "Enter your license code. Cloud licenses are easy to manage and provide flexible access options." Text field "Enter a license code: XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX" with "Activate License" button.
  • "FlexNet Licensing" (marked LOCAL SERVER / OFFLINE) — "Enterprise-grade licensing supporting both network floating and local file licenses..." with "Select FlexNet" button.
  • "I don't have a license yet" — "Request access from your administrator or contact support to obtain a license." with "Request a License" button.
  • Bottom navigation: < Back, Next >, Finish, Cancel.
• Step 4: Confirm License Details — After activation, "Cloud license activated successfully" confirmation with message "MADE is now licensed through the Cloud licensing service. Review the lease details below before finishing." "Lease details" panel shows: License code (masked, e.g. "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxICNS"), License type ("Floating (network)"), Active seat ("MADE Modeling"), Expiration date (e.g. "December 31 2026"), Entitled seats (e.g. "MADE Modeling, MADE PHM, MADE RAM, MADE SRA"), Capabilities (e.g. "MADE Japanese, MADE TC"), Machine identity (e.g. "TPM"), Issuer (e.g. "PHM Technology Pty. Ltd."). Click Finish.
