FlexNet License (offline) Upgrade recommended.

What you need to do

Please follow the instructions below based on the type of MADE licensing you currently operate.

You currently use Zentitle Cloud Licensing

Upgrade to MADE 3.9.1. In most cases, migration happens automatically on first launch, you should not need to do anything else. If MADE cannot migrate automatically, the License Wizard will open; enter the same license code you already use.

Step-by-step actions

  1. Download the latest MADE 3.9.1 installer.
  2. Install MADE 3.9.1 on your workstation (you can open your licensed features).
  3. Contact MADE.support.disw@siemens.com if licensing does not activate or you are unsure which code to use.

You use the Zentitle Daemon Server (offline)

Upgrade MADE to 3.9.1 and move from the Zentitle Daemon Server to a FlexNet License Server. This is a one-time server change: PHM will issue a new FlexNet license file that matches your current expiry date and entitlements.

Step-by-step actions

  1. Plan the change — identify the machine that will host the new FlexNet License Server (this can be a new server or an existing one).
  2. Decommission the Zentitle Daemon Server — shut down the Zentitle server virtual machine and remove it from service when you are ready to cut over.
  3. Install the FlexNet License Server on the new license server machine (including the latest PHMT13.exe daemon).
  4. Send to MADE.support.disw@siemens.com the following details for the new license server:
    • Server MAC address or Composite ID
    • Server hostname
  5. Wait for PHM Technology to issue the new FlexNet license file.
  6. Install MADE 3.9.1 on each workstation.
  7. Confirm MADE opens and licensing is working correctly for all users.
  8. Contact MADE.support.disw@siemens.com if you need help with server details, the license file, or client configuration.

You use the FlexNet License Server (offline)

Upgrade MADE to 3.9.1 and update the license server daemon (PHMT13.exe) to the latest version. Both updates are required together; there is no change to how your users connect to the license server.

Step-by-step actions

  1. Download the latest MADE 3.9.1 installer.
  2. Download and install the latest PHMT13.exe license server daemon.
  3. On your license server machine, upgrade the FlexNet daemon to this latest version.
  4. Restart the licensing service on the license server.
  5. Install MADE 3.9.1 on each workstation that runs MADE.
  6. Confirm each user can connect to the license server and open MADE as usual.
  7. Contact MADE.support.disw@siemens.com if users cannot obtain a license after the upgrade.
