Search

The Search Dialog enables users to search for items or failure concepts in a system

model to identify where they are located. This functionality is accessed from the main

menu by selecting "Edit → Search…".

To perform a search:

• Enter a search term in to the "Text Search" field
• Alternatively, select a failure concept type (radio-button, lower left) and search for the required failure concept
• Once the required failure concept is found drag-and-drop this concept to the "Search Terms" box
• Select "Search"
• After the Search viewer appears, verify the results found

From the Search viewer, the user can locate the result in the system model by double-clicking a result.
