FMECA (AIAG, FMEA 4th Ed.)

The Failure mode, effects analysis, FMECA (AIAG, FMEA 4th Ed.), report is based on

the AIAG FMEA 4th Edition standard. Specifically, the report is based on the "Potential

failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) reference manual, fourth edition". The report

lists the Failure Mode for each item in the system model that leads to the selected End

Effect. This report depends on functions, flows, failure diagrams (if provided),

severity, occurrence, detection and RPN.

Analysis Options

The user sets the end effect item according to the expected system output required

by selecting an element from the provided end effect item list followed by selecting

the "Set End Effect Item" button or from the system model, followed by

selecting the "Next" button. (alternatively, right-click on a selected item

in the system model and select "End Effect Item" from the menu).
