3.6 Back-Fit RCM Report Structure

The Back-Fit RCM Report consists of four (per the section heading) / five (per the itemized list in the source) main page types — the source guide's summary sentence says "four main page types" but then lists five items; both are reproduced faithfully below:

3.6.1 Back-Fit RCM Report (Cover Page)

The cover page of the Back-Fit RCM Report consists of 4 main sections: report description (which briefly explains the purpose of the report), the company logo and details (if provided in the report wizard), MADE project details, and Report Parameters.

3.6.2 Maintainable Item Summary

The Maintainable Item Summary page shows relevant information of Maintainable Items containing Back-Fit RCM analyses that have been selected for the report. Information includes:

• System display name
• Time Span (Hours)
• Schematic Reference
• Item ID & Name
• Maintenance action recommendation
• Meantime to Failure (MTTF)
• Existing/Proposed/Delta
• Meantime Between Maintenance (MTBM)
• Costs

3.6.3 Maintainable Items Identified for Redesign

If there is a Re-design recommendation, a "Maintainable Items Identified for Redesign" section will be shown. This page shows tables containing information about each maintainable item considered for the Back-Fit RCM report, their corresponding MTTF and Reference Drawing. A second table also shows the Back-Fit logic questions, the user responses to these questions, and any entered narratives from the analysis.

3.6.4 Maintenance Action Summary

The Maintenance Action Summary page shows the breakdown of maintenance actions and their associated durations and costs. This is summarized in a table and in a graphical pie chart.

3.6.5 Maintainable Item Details

Maintainable Item Details consist of multiple pages for each maintainable item considered in the Back-Fit RCM Report. These pages are divided as follows, for each failure path:

• Page 1: Failure path & cost/time attributes; Back-Fit RCM Questions
• Page 2: Maintenance Action details
• Page 3: Inspection/Maintenance Tasks; Inspection/Maintenance Personnel; Inspection/Maintenance Spares, Equipment & Consumables
