  2. Select the Import button to access the Requirements Import Wizard. Specify the Requirement Import File and Requirement Import Configuration.
  3. Specify the Requirement Import File and Requirement Import Configuration (see WF43).
  4. Select each of the requirements in the list to confirm the updates in the imported requirements.
  5. Select the Requirements to be synchronized into MADE.
  6. Link Requirements with the associated Model Items by selecting the link icon.
  7. Specify whether to import or omit unlinked Requirements.
  8. Requirements synchronized to MADE.

Screen-by-screen detail (from embedded screenshots)

  • Step 1: Access Requirements Landing Page — Same as WF44: Project Explorer > right-click system > Requirements. Shows Requirement List with Allocated (1) / Unallocated (7) example counts.
  • Step 4: Confirm Requirements Changes — After specifying the (updated) import file (e.g. "MADE_Requirments Version 2.xlsx") and Requirement Configuration, the wizard's "Synchronize Requirements" page shows an "Updated Requirements" tree with checkboxes (e.g. Requirement 1 > 1.2 > 1.2.1) and a "Details" panel comparing Property / Current Value / New Value for the selected requirement, e.g.: Requirement ID 1.2.1 -> 1.2.1 (unchanged); Requirement Name "Requirement 1.2.1" -> "Requirement 1.2.1 (Modified)"; DID No "1-2" -> "1-2"; DID Title "DID 1-2" -> "DID 1-2 (Modified)"; Requirement Description "Description 4" -> "Description 4(2) (Modified)"; Requirement Classification (blank) -> "Design". Buttons "Select All" / "Select None" are available to bulk toggle which updated requirements to accept.
  • Step 5: Select Requirements to Synchronize — Check/uncheck individual requirements in the "Updated Requirements" tree (e.g. only 1.2.1 checked) before clicking Next.
  • Step 6: Link Requirements to Model Items — Same two-pane Requirements/System Model linking screen as WF44 — select a requirement (e.g. 1.2.2) and a model item (e.g. Transmission) and click the link icon ("Create link").
  • Step 7: Specify Requirement Import — Same "Unlinked Requirements" page with "Import all requirements" / "Only import linked requirements" radio options, then Finish.
  • Step 8: Requirements Synchronized — Requirement List updates to reflect modified values (e.g. Requirement 1.2.1 (Modified), Classification "Design", Linked Model Items "Differential"), and Requirement Details panel shows the modified Requirement Name, DID Title, and Description.

Outputs

  • I. Updated Requirements: Requirements are synchronized and updated in MADE.
