Sensor Set Table Viewer

The Sensor Set table shows all the sensor sets that have been generated for the system.

To open a sensor set in the table:

  1. Open the PHM module
  2. Open the system model
  3. Access the sensor set table using the tool-bar icon or right-click on the system model and select "Sensor Table"
  4. Another way to open the table is to re-run a sensor analysis from within the sensor set analysis editor. The sensor set analysis table shows the available sets, and expanding them shows individual sensors.

Columns

  • Name (Set/Sensor name): The name of a sensor/sensor set that can be edited in sensor set editor.
  • Location: Indicates the component a sensor is placed on.
  • Type (Functional/Dynamic): the model type selected during set generation.
  • of sensors: The total number of sensors in a sensor set.

  • Coverage: The percentage of observable flow properties a given sensor set can detect.
  • Possible Coverage: The absolute percentage of required flow properties that can be covered by a sensor set.
  • Cost: The cost each sensor, or the total cost of all sensors in the set.
  • Weight: The weight of each individual sensor, or the total weight of all the sensors in the set.

Toolbar Actions

  • Analysis Sensor Set Group: Creates a range of sensor sets with a variety of flow coverage based on built-in algorithms.
  • User Sensor Set Group: Allows the user to create custom sensor sets with user-defined flow coverage.
  • Legacy Sensor Set Group: Creates sensor sets that incorporate built-in sensors from test points.
  • Export button: Exports the sensor table in the .csv format that can be opened in a spreadsheet program.
