Maintenance Cost Estimate Editor

The Maintenance Cost Estimates (MCE) analysis is used to generate and compare the

costs of maintenance procedures for an item or groups of items in a system, across its

lifetime of operation. A lifetime is defined by aggregated mission profiles assigned

within the Mission Profile Definition (MPD) tool. The MCE analysis is an estimator and

is does not contain procedural steps or decision logic, unlike the RCM analysis, nor is

it intended to be used as a rigorous maintenance analysis tool.

To open the Maintenance Cost Estimate editor:

1. Select "Analyses" on the Main Menu
2. Select "Maintenance Cost Estimate"
