Introduction

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis is defined as "a process used to determine what must be done to ensure that any physical asset continues to do what its users want it to do in its present operating context" (Moubray J., 1997). RCM analysis allows the user to identify component failure modes, form a response to a failure mode by performing a breakdown or preventative maintenance plan and document this information in a structured approach.
