4.4 Analysis Overview
The Analysis Overview tab is named after the name of the analysis entered when creating the analysis. It features the ability to view general information about analyses, create and assign Contributors, review Mission Profile, and add documents and images related to the analysis (Figure 32).
To open this tab, double-click on the analysis in the RCM Management tab.
Note: If a contributor is not set, the tool will prompt to select the Current Contributor when opening an analysis. Contributors are discussed below.
4.4.1 RCM Analysis Details
This section displays the Analysis Name, Version number, Analysis Description, System, RCM Configuration and Workflow selected while creating the analysis, along with the created and last modified time (Figure 33). Analysis name and description are editable.
4.4.2 Contributors
This section allows the creation of all the contributor profiles for the analysis and selecting one for current contribution. All the changes made in the analysis are recorded against the contributor marked "Current". Each profile includes the contributor's name, company, title, and role.
Create a new role and its description when creating a contributor profile, or by navigating to Preferences > Application Preferences > Modelling > RCM > Contributor Roles (refer to section 4.14.1 for detailed steps). These roles are saved at the application level.
To create a new contributor profile
- Click New
- Enter Name: e.g. "Analyst 1" (Figure 35)
- Enter Company: e.g. "Company 1"
- Enter Title: e.g. "Engineer"
- Select a role: e.g. "Reliability Engineer"
- Click Ok
Note: The first contributor is selected as "Current Contributor" by default. Create multiple profiles to switch. It is mandatory to select one as "Current Contributor" if contributor profiles are present (Figure 36).
4.4.3 Mission Profile Definition
For the Model-Based FMEA workflow, the active mission profile is captured and set for the analysis. It displays key mission profile information such as name, duration, mission cycles, mission parameter sum, and description. In addition, the functional profile, mission phases, and operational/environmental conditions for the selected mission profile are displayed (see Mission Context, section 4.6).
To create a new mission profile, refer to the Mission Profile guide (Help > Guides > Mission Profile Definition).
Note: This section is disabled for the FMEA data import workflow.
4.4.4 Related Documents and Images
This section allows for the attachment of relevant documents and images for the analysis. The source FMEA used to create the analysis is automatically attached for both the FMEA data import and Model-Based FMEA workflows.
