DISCUSSION 1.6.1 REQUIREMENTS VERIFICATION TOOL THEORY
The Requirements Verification Tool is used to import requirements information from a spreadsheet which is then used to be associated to model items and undergo verification.
The requirements can be in based on different categories and classifications such as Functional, Operational, Performance, Allocated, Derived etc.
The spreadsheet will have a structured format with the following headers:

Requirement Name*

DID Title
Requirement Classification
Requirement Description

To import Requirements from a spreadsheet, the import configuration needs to be established to map the corresponding fields:

To set the Requirements Import Configuration:
Select Preferences Application Preferences
Within the Navigation tree, select Modeling Import Requirement

Enter the following details:
Name: Generic Requirements Import Description: Generic Requirements import from MADE_Requirements.xlsx Worksheet: Requirements Header Rows: 1

DISCUSSION 1.6.4 REQUIREMENTS IMPORT AND VERIFICATION
Each requirement can be associated with a specific model item, mission profile and mission events & conditions.
Verification analyses can be documented and artefacts attached for each requirement.

To import requirements, select the from the requirements landing page
Specify the requirement file location and Requirement Configuration
Select and select Import all requirements

Select a requirement from the Requirement list and In the Requirements Summary tab, select to associate the requirement to model item/s In the Mission Profile tab, select the Mission Profile and the mission sections for the selected requirement

EXERCISE 1.6.4 REQUIREMENTS IMPORT AND VERIFICATION
In the Mission Events and Conditions tab, select any Mission Events (Operational and Environmental) and Mission Conditions (Operational and Environmental) associated with the requirement
In the Verification tab, document the verification method/s (analyses types) performed as well as attach artefacts

DISCUSSION 1.6.5 REQUIREMENTS SYNCHRONIZATION
When the excel source document is updated, the information can be synchronized to the MADE project and update the existing requirements based on the Requirement ID.
To synchronize data, follow the Requirements Import process and select the requirements to update in the import wizard.
