Project Explorer Viewer
The Project Explorer is used as the main navigation area for a MADE Project.
The viewer outlines the tree structure of a system model. It also displays the
number of items in a level of indenture, the item types (e.g. subsystem, component,
part), functions, failure diagrams or failure concepts if present.
In summary the Project explorer identifies:
- Hierarchies (LOI) in the System Model Structure
- Model Items: Systems, Subsystems, Components, Parts & Part-Pairs
- Number of model items in a level of indenture
- Item Function(s), Flow(s) & Flow Properties
- End-effect Items
- Item Failure Concepts
Selecting the drop-down menu

provides options for the user to filter and display:
- Failure Diagrams
- Functions
- Item count (Shown in brackets next to item name)
- Item & Vendor number in front of item name
