WF01: Install MADE Software

Pre-requisites

  • Minimum Processing Requirements: The system must meet to run the MADE software.
  • Internet Connection: to download the MADE install file from the PHMT website, with the link below – www.phmtechnology.com/resources/downloads.html

Detailed Descriptions (numbered steps)

  1. Download the MADE installation file (.exe) from the Downloads page of the PHM Technology website.
  2. Choose between silent installation using the CMD Prompt interface or basic installation with the Windows interface.
  3. Access the CMD Prompt interface and execute the installation file (.exe) for silent installation.
  4. Alternatively, access the Windows interface File Explorer and execute the file from its download location.
  5. Define the destination folder to be the installation location, and complete the process.
  6. Open the MADE software from the Start Menu or its file location folder. If a license has not been validated the MADE License Finder will trigger.
  7. If a MADE license is available, continue the process to define its location for validation.
  8. A MADE license may be requested, sending the request to PHMT and granted pending verification.
  9. Activate using MADE Cloud License Code (WF57). This is the recommended activation method.
  10. Activate MADE using a locally configured FlexNet Server (WF59).
  11. Activate MADE offline using a FlexNet license file (WF60).
  12. Successful MADE license validation enables access to the software.

Step 4: Install using Windows Interface

  • "MADE Setup" wizard — "Welcome to the MADE Setup Wizard": "This wizard will guide you through the installation of MADE. It is recommended that you close all other applications before starting Setup. This will make it possible to update relevant system files without having to reboot your computer. Click Next to continue." Buttons: Next >, Cancel.

Step 5: Define Installation Location

  • "License Agreement" screen: "Please review the license terms before installing MADE." Shows "MADE Software License, PHM Technology Pty. Ltd." with clause "1. Ownership of MADE — Program is owned by and copyright to Licensor." Text: "If you accept the terms of the agreement, click I Agree to continue. You must accept the agreement to install MADE." Buttons: < Back, I Agree, Cancel.
  • "Choose Install Location" screen: "Choose the folder in which to install MADE." "Setup will install MADE in the following folder. To install in a different folder, click Browse and select another folder. Click Next to continue." Destination Folder field default: C:\Program Files\MADE. Shows "Space required: 781.9MB", "Space available: 39.4GB". Buttons: Browse..., < Back, Next >, Cancel.
  • "Choose Start Menu Folder" screen: "Choose a Start Menu folder for the MADE shortcuts." Folder list shown includes: Accessibility, Accessories, Administrative Tools, Maintenance, QF-Test, Startup, System Tools, Windows PowerShell. Buttons: < Back, Install, Cancel.

Step 8: Request MADE License

  • "MADE License Finder" screen: "Select an option below to activate or request a license." Options shown:
    • RECOMMENDED — "Cloud Licensing": "Enter your license code. Cloud licenses are easy to manage and provide flexible access options." Field: "Enter a license code: XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX". Button: Activate License.
    • LOCAL SERVER / OFFLINE — "FlexNet Licensing": "Enterprise-grade licensing supporting both network floating and local file licenses. Trusted by IT teams worldwide and actively maintained." Button: Select FlexNet.
    • "I don't have a license yet": "Request access from your administrator or contact support to obtain a license." Button: Request a License.
  • "Request License" screen: "Provide your contact details to start a license request." Fields under "Personal Information": Full name, Organization, Country, Reply-to Email (example values shown: Sam / Example Organization / USA / example@test.com).
  • "Request License" review screen: "Review your request below, then send it to PHM Technology." Under "License Request Details": "Review the message below, then send it to PHM Technology. Open Email Client prepares the email for you; if that isn't available, use Copy to Clipboard and send it to support@phmtechnology.com." Sample message body: "PHM Technology Licensing Support, Below are my required details needed to create a Node-Locked license for MADE. Full name: Sam / Organization: Example Organization / Country: USA / FlexNet Host ID: [redacted]...AB89". Buttons: Copy to Clipboard, Open Email Client.
